Вы владеете паяльником?

Вам понадобится:
паяльник
настольный компьютер с SPI Flash в форм факторе DIP8 на кроватке
опционально: макетная плата SOIC, панелька DIP8-папа, плоский кабель

Разбираете ноутбук, и выпаивайте чип BIOS из ноутбука

Собираете адаптер SOIC-8 -> DIP-8 (порядок контактов одинаковый для SOIC и DIP), можно просто подпаять провода к чипу – но это не красивый вариант

Припаиваете добытую вами микросхему BIOS

Загружаете настольный компьютер (потребуется LiveCD с Linux)
После того, как компьютер загрузится, аккуратно извлекаете штатную микросхему BIOS и подключаете переходник
Запискаете программу FlashRom – если программа рапортует что удачно обнаружила микросхему:
– делаете резервную копию ./flashrom -r BIOS.bin
– прошиваете BIOS ./flashrom -w 3651F15.fd или ./flashrom -w 3651F151.fd для 11xx моделей
Выключайте компьютер
Вставляйте обратно родной BIOS
Перепаивайте микросхему обратно в ноутбук

После прошивки у Вас сбросится DMI, его необходимо восстановить вручную – тут лежит редактор (задать модель или серийный номер) или загрузить готовый образ: https://icelord.net/HP/EEPROM.DAT (для моделей необходимо 311-11xx поправить model)

    Но появилась проблема -в процессе ругается. Есть понимание в чем ошибка?

    Ну вот, вчера напортачил с разгоном. Брикнулся ноут. Вытащил планку памяти, однако он не ожил. Вытащил всю периферию – ноль эмоций. Пляски с флешками не помогли.

    Айслорд, какая микросхема с биосом? Маркировка?

    Подскажите как переключается множитель процессорной шины на северном мосте ION с х4 на х5 чтобы частота процессорной шины стала 667мгц? На какой ноге надо отпаять или припаять резистор?
    Северный мост ION имеет возможность работать либо на частоте 533 мгц либо на частоте 667 мгц. Биос ноута не имеет меню для переключения множителя.Заранее признателен за ссылку на документацию по ION.Множитель этот есть на ION он позволяет подключать к ION разные процессоры N280 с частотой процессорной шиной 667 мгц и N270 с частотой процессорной шиной 533 мгц. Производитель переключает множитель с х4 на х5 при неизменной тактовой частоте 133 мгц.

    1.есть вариант того что bios вообще сдох(сгорел)? если да, то как это узнать?
    2.Есть аппаратный способ возврата биоса без распайки?, кроме перечисленных? если есть направь по адресу…
    3. Сколько будет стоить мне новая мать? и сколько стоит ремонт примерно?
    4. много ноутов погорело после разгона проца, по отзывам? (стоит дальше заниматься и гнать его либо остановиться?)

      1. маловероятно – скорее вообще не включится если сдох
      2. в теории – подпаяться к BIOS (внешнего SPI не нашли до сих пор), но может не сработать – зависит от обвязки чипа
      3. я не HP – не знаю, HP чинить не будет точно, у ремонтников матерей… ну не знаю 8 ножек перепаять.. рублей 200, ну + разобрать/собрать, не знаю сколько это стоит.
      4. я не слышал ни об одном сгоревшем, битые BIOS были, но это отдельная песня – лечилось перепрошиванием каждый раз

    Брик, брик, брик…..потух навеки походу….черный экран и горит лампочка у капс лок, вентили работают..не пищит не реагирует на флэшку не на что не реагирует..ставил частоту 2,2,
    по гарантии можно сдать его,он покупался уже юзаный и после ремонта в магазине? попробую.
    Паять нету возможности я даже не совсем соображаю что за детали такие вы описываете. Хотя попробую разобраться и найти все что необходимо для восстановления работоспособности моего “миньки”! вам огромное спасибо за ваши старания и кучу времени потраченного на проведенную работу. Исследования возможностей буду продолжать. СПАСИБО ТЕБЕ icelord!
    PS: был mini 1110, bios F16hack.

    свой брик решил почти без мата двумя флешками,на одной разлоченый биос,на второй нет…кучу раз туда-сюда поперепрошивал вручную на win+b ,ожил…наверно тоже не самый адовый брик был

    Странно, мне после брика помогло отключение батарейки и закорачивание соответствующих ответных контактов на материнке. Видимо у меня был не такой страшный брик.
